how do you think about app vs network tokens (ie actual tokenomics)?

agree. i dont know why any serious project or community would deploy this way. was fun for random memes though.

re tokenomics, I think the current model of agent token launchers launching a token at low market cap for your app is pretty broken and you're giving away 95%+ of value to the wrong people in a way that you can't undo later

that's a complicated question. 
I think incentive design is crypto's superpower and one of the only ways protocols will have the network effects to replace platforms. 
I think apps not thinking about how to align users with ownership to help them grow will probably be replaced by those that do

without $eth, the ethereum community is probably still niche hobbyists with few users
