Sets up partisan battles. “Crypto” becomes the new “Masks”, the new “Genderless bathrooms”.

Unfortunate, but was bound to happen at sometime. Will play out in the second half of Trump admin and following. 

ETH’s distance may end up being something that allows a version of crypto that’s more palatable to various parties to move forward. 

It’s going to be an all out war.

so unfortunate. it definitely would be nice if eth could carve out a space that feels less politicized. it feels probable but perhaps not for a long time
