90% of this type of aid goes to the guys growing corn, soybeans and grains. They “need” it badly because there’s not a real market for what they grow. It’s propped up market with lots of artificial demand like ethanol in fuel. Many of these programs also disproportionately help larger growers furthering consolidation. It’s very early to tell…
