One thing I like about Twitter is it feels like posts have a longer shelf life.

Something I tweet today feels like it can simmer for a few days and still reach new people.

On here I feel like the Casts are only valid for ~24 hours.

Could be completely off but just a feeling I've been having lately

If you’re a reply guy pivot to being a boomerang quote caster… surfacing the good stuff which is 24-72 hours old.

Definitely more chitty chat 

Though you could funnel folks toward @paragraph for more long form written content.

I know there’s value to the chit chat but it’s more valuable to the platform than the end users.

It’s an interesting notion, the social media interactions definitely mirror the shorter attention spans of modern day.

One aspect that originally brought me to twitter is that it was a great jumping off place to learning new things, less so now that they so heavily nerfed links etc.

I’m a big fan of Reddit because it is such a repository for knowledge.  A great question / answer thread is often applicable 10y down the line.  The only thing people use old Tweets for is to dunk on others when shit ages poorly.
