I have to do some medical testing next week. After insurance, it's going to cost me $3k. Luckily, my work helps pay my deductible down and I set money aside for my HSA so it's I can afford it but this amount would devastate most people. We need to fix our healthcare system in the states.

Agreed. Another sign of how bad it is, is one of my initials reactions was “that’s the risk of a high deductible plan” which is a reaction to have. Hope the testing yields good results 100 $degen
