Over ten years ago, I took a friend on O'Rourke's Famous Circle Island Tour and we found this cute little weaner Meli playing on a shallow reef on a remote North Shore corner, and she fell in love. How could you not love those big eyes? Vaulted by Bianca de Medici 69 aka Sia. I’ve been doing #MonkSealMonday for a while, and will continue to do so every Monday. Despite all our best efforts, much more must still be done. I hope my #MonkSeal post each Monday helps call attention to this beautiful animal and builds awareness of the efforts to preserve them.
