Verifications are opt-in, but through proof-of-work offer a non-biometric proxy version of proof-of-humanity. The more verifications (with publicly visible activity / history / reputation), the more likely you are to be human. Useful for developers building on the protocol, projects targeting airdrops and even for understanding that your engagement is not coming from "bots".

Yes, the arguments are convincing. Even in an L2-oriented Ethereum ecosystem, L1 remains a critical layer, especially for security, censorship resistance, and edge cases like mass exits. The main risk of increasing the L1 gas limit is centralization due to higher node requirements. However, if client technology improvements, EIP-4444, and further optimizations truly enable a 10x scaling of L1 safely, this would bring significant benefits. The question is whether such a level of scaling is realistic in the next 1-2 years without compromising decentralization. But in the long term, the idea makes sense.😎

This also benefits developers because they have a large potential user base 4. Super joining Warpcast allows us to invest more time on growth (no. 1) 5. Base bringing Farcaster into Coinbase Wallet—an app that has millions of existing users—helps with growth (no. 1) 6. We’re working on several big growth initiatives—both product-led (Woj will be helping with this!) and marketing / sales led (more announcements here soon!) 7. We’re investing more time in outbound messaging. You’ve likely seen our X / Twitter account get more active recently. Will be doing more here as well.
