Ever since I ditched squats for more friendly/natural movements my strength and size have exploded. I tried for 10 years to perfect my squat form and just could never feel comfortable doing it. My max 1rm with back squat was ~350lbs.

Switching to leverage squat machine is absolutely gamechanger. My 1rm is now 440lbs and my legs have grown significantly. Don't feel that any specific lift/exercise is mandatory. Find what feels good and what you enjoy doing. My knees and low back are not longer in constant and pain and I'm making huge progres!

you did a back squat 1rm and it went up that much, or your squat on the leverage machine is higher than the back squat? if it's 1, holy shit. if 2, I know I can definitely do about 150-200 more on the vsquat than the back squat.

think its the better isolation that's making your legs grow? I get limited by what my lower back can manage so hit the vsquat to burn my quads. Are you on your squat maching only, back/front squats are totally gone?

#2. Obviously different lifts don't compare directly. But I'm getting deeper reps, slower reps, less bouncing out of the hole, much much closer to failure, way more quad growth, etc. Every quality of the lift is better [for me] with the leverage squat.
