↗️ @survey is about to level up, hard.

@ba and I are pumped to announce @ponder, the parent platform that will distribute rewards for answers and manage survey logistics. I highly recommend reading the full post on @paragraph, but here’s a synopsis for the lazy 👇

Congratulations. Would you have pointers to stats that show monetizing surveys makes for “better” survey? (Quoting as many meanings here) Found an article from 2017, but it seems there is much more to it. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5406995/

monetization is a necessary tool when the sample is obscure. does it appeal to everyone targeted, no, but it gets more people through the door than the typical "would you do a survey" ratio. As far as data quality, its dependent on how general the topic is. More General=more likely to get bad data.

The paper seems to conclude along these lines. With an interesting observation: there was no difference between incentivized and self-motivated people in completing the survey.
