Life changes are scary, but I’ve been feeling stuck in my current job for quite a while, and realized there’s absolutely no room for growth. It’s a big change, but feels necessary.

Yep, that’s the idea! :) Also I’m thinking about my son’s future and providing for him. The new job is a step up in pay, and since it’s remote, I think I’ll have some flexibility to take care of single-parent responsibilities when needed!

congrats man! sounds like you're leaning towards it for quality of life and general change of the soul. so i say go for it. Seems like the new gig prbly pays more, but even if it doesn't WFH is a huge step up in happiness.
taking the leap away from a place i've been a while is always so hard for me, but each time has been an improvement. especially since you have more experience of the world now

I think you have the answer yourself my friend. What I can tell you is that in life we often have to take a leap of faith and leave our comfort zone in order to grow. Whatever you decide will be the right thing to do.
