insane level of shittiness and hostility we put up with today with apps and tech. "I forgot to cancel my Postmates subscription. - Ok let me go into the Postmates app - it's prbly under Account, I'll go there - oh right, it's fucking Uber now - I guess I'll click Manage Uber account? - no I don't want to start account checkup for ride safely - ok I guess there is nothing related to payments - go back - Uber one? Is that what its fucking called? - oh wow, a bunch of offers and benefits for the thing I'm already paying for - nothing about canceling - go back - nope, I'm not a driver, no I don't want to see my rides, no I don't want to set up a business profile. - I guess I'll look at Uber one setting again? - oh there it is - "Manage Membership" right above the fine print, just a little bit larger. below the entire screen height of the offers and benefits for what I already have Cool" And what's fucked up is of course they got me with the 90% discount on the 3rd confirmation screen.
