Job offer received!! What do you think frens, should I leave my low-paid theatre tech gig for a work-from-home av service coordinator position? Life changes are scary, but I’ve been feeling stuck in my current job for quite a while, and realized there’s absolutely no room for growth. It’s a big change, but feels necessary. Chime in, I could use the support! ☺️🫶🏻✨

Move on mate! WFH will bring you way better life quality! I know you love your theatre work in terms of the tech stuff you deal with, but hey maybe you could later do it on the side! Get that offer, bro!

+1 do both coordinator role gives u the means to make more impact as theater tech but if being a coordinator is going to make u feel like a whore don’t do it. i won’t work on facebook ads for example if someone offered to 2x my salary.

Ok, I like this. I think you’re right; having a coordinator role will definitely bring a higher level of organization to my other work. I could see having a side-hustle doing tech jobs here and there. I feel pretty good about the company I got the offer from, so the moral alignment is there. It’s just the shift in the day-to-day routine that’s a bit daunting! Thanks fren! 🙏🏼
