This is expected in places that have weak institutions and less rule of law. When you are big you become a big target for politicians who can bend the system any way they wish.

It’s messy. Working on something in Nigeria currently and we’re not using BTC deliberately and ensuring we remain on the right side of what the govt will accept as a form of digital currency being used as financial aid by an NGO - Its tricky and the goal posts do keep shifting.
