For founders that have built out a strong early team -- how did you identify those first 5-10 hires? What channels did you try, and which did you find most effective?

This is a good rubric for how I’d advise teams under 40 approach hiring. Most crypto teams fall into the category. 

To be most effective, it’s important to be self aware about your experiences as an applicant or which talent to be prioritizing as a company.

Yeah this rubric is basically "de-risk the hire as much as possible," which is generally a good philosophy. 

Most early-stage startup recruiting happens through personal networks. I'm wondering if crypto founders are successfully able to pull their web2 friends into the industry, or if its impossibly hard in 2023/2024
