At first, I was skeptical about the Zora update, but now I have to admit that coins are more beneficial than NFTs — both for creators and for the platform itself. In any case, it's worth trying. 

The only thing I’d like to highlight is that the benefits shouldn’t go exclusively to influencers with thousands of followers, but also to regular creators. Relying solely on influencers ruined VK, which is now drowning in debt despite having no competition in the local market. So, there need to be mechanisms and algorithms that ensure regular creators can reach an audience.

Talking Web3, chasing airdrops, watching movies.

Absolutely.

One risk I could see with coins is needing to go viral to actually generate meaningful income. If that ends up being the world we live in, we're kind of right back to the internet of today, where everyone is in a race for the bottom, constantly trying to go viral (vs., say, deliver something more substantive to a small, core group of people that care deeply).
