The attention economy is a battle for our limited human RAM. Advertising (20th century) and attention (21st cent) were wars fought for our RAM As machines become further extensions of ourselves, we're going to see our RAM increase / demand for our RAM to increase further. Prob more levels too (L1, L2 cache etc)

One of the most important books I’ve ever read was “getting things done” by David Allen and it is as close to downloading more RAM for your brain as you can get, imo.
