Haven't seen much about it this year, or maybe I'm just out of the loop a little bit. But here's a reminder that the FIDE World Championship is in session! Ding vs Gukesh. Just because it's not Magnus doesn't make it not amazing chess! Check it out.

I think people tragically underestimate ding because he’s not magnus. I feel for the guy because I get a lot of the sense that people think his championship isn’t legitimate and that must suck a lot lol
