When I’m reading a book, it tends to influence my day to day perspective. As a silly example, if I’m reading a book about trees, I will definitely become more aware of trees. So when I feel like I’m in a really good state of mind. When decisions are clicking and creativity is pumping and I am feeling like I am in a really good perspective at the moment, in a flow season if you will, I sometimes find I don’t want to read. I don’t want to disrupt or interrupt or alter my perspective during those times. Don’t want to escape, don’t want to learn, just want to keep going and keep doing what I’m doing. There’s a million reasons to read. But that’s one not to.

I love how you worded this. It definitely makes sense, It’s almost like the preparation for the moment that it led to and when it comes you never want to rush that away so you just experience it.
