some underlying reasons people are mad:

- eth is down from most days since the start of 2021
- farcaster has not grown as fast as some expected
- the feed makes it look like everyone's getting rich
- this "cycle" has not happened for eth or its ecosystem
- there is a lot of uncertainty in the global economy
- the unpredictability of the future including ai is scary
- most jobs lack fulfillment yet are done for the money
- social media makes it look like everyone is happier
- remote work got people living further from loved ones
- too much time on the phone zaps one's attention span
- addictions to many psychological drugs are normalized

The fulfillment part is honestly the conversation I have with a lot of friends 

Trapped in a state of worried about leaving what they have but knowing they want more
