What’s the most socially dangerous “toy” or “game” you’ve ever played with, either as a kid or an adult?

As in, able to upset social relations, not in the sense of BB guns or fireworks.

Video games. For me it was just Xbox — sports games and Halo and Cod. Super addicting. Seem to be especially so for smart kids. I think a lot of good could have probably been done by people who we’ve basically lost to crippling video game addictions, and problem is poised to continue

Oh, yeah — pornography along these lines as well. Easy to access, free, traumatic, addictive, secret…
