How do you think about the connection between watching videos and trading tokens? How did you decide that was the next step for Drakula, to connect the two?

It’s actually clearer in my mind than the creator tokens we did for Drakula v1 — the SocialFi component was pure speculation on the *past* reputation of Farcaster creators and not correlated to their actual videos

We think meme videos about a memecoin make sense: you like the meme, you’re entertained, you click buy. Easy! It’s connected. We even have a comment section now

It also makes Drakula “raidable”. If you’re @doginme or @jacek, you can get video on the feed for everyone to trade your tokens directly. It’s a very common behavior in memecoins

my first reaction to this was “watch videos + trade tokens, wtf?!”

but it makes sense that creators could make content aligned with a coin and users could then trade that coin after seeing the content.

see $higher content, get hype, buy $higher

see $degen content, feel cringe, sell $degen
