some of these people might not even be THAT pseudonymous but the fact that i think they are is enough

benefits of pseudonymity as a content creator:

> creative risk-taking
> focus on merit
> less focus on appearance, the internet can be mean
> avoid bias and prejudice
> build a clear, single-topic brand
> buffer from parasocial demands
> mystery and audience intrigue
> collaborate as a group
> shield your day job
> safety from harassment, especially when your assets are public
> freedom to detach and build other niche brands

always been intrigued by the multiple pseudonym thing implied by single-topic brand / explore multiple 

niche definitely seems to win on the internet

but feels categorically different / harder to manage multiple IDs vs having 1 overall pseud, but then again there’s Ben Franklin
