Believing in the importance of free speech can be hard to defend for me. Especially when it entails allowing harmful or offensive ideas and opinions to be expressed

Agreed and it’s also hard to put expectations on people especially when it’s expectations on what they can/ should say.

Freedom is absolutely a doubled edged sword
