a few years ago, i got gifted this book and i put off reading it for a while until i finally did recently. 
it’s an amazing book about the beauty of love and sacrifice, amongst other things. 

One of the things that spoke the most to me was the importance of identity. 
The book highlights the struggles of maintaining one’s identity through external pressures and encourages staying true to your yourself and your values, and not lose yourself in the midst of all the craziness and uncertainty of the world. 

i keep that at the back of my mind and i’ve improved so much in maintaining my stance on not entertaining things that don’t conform with my values.
