i’m team “late night creativity” and the only valid reason is that i get to have the time to myself, no distractions. The world is quiet and calm and that just unlocks my creative side. Also, i’ve just realized that i’m more productive at night, so i make use of that opportunity.

a few years ago, i got gifted this book and i put off reading it for a while until i finally did recently. it’s an amazing book about the beauty of love and sacrifice, amongst other things. One of the things that spoke the most to me was the importance of identity. The book highlights the struggles of maintaining one’s identity through external pressures and encourages staying true to your yourself and your values, and not lose yourself in the midst of all the craziness and uncertainty of the world. i keep that at the back of my mind and i’ve improved so much in maintaining my stance on not entertaining things that don’t conform with my values. i highly recommend reading this, maybe you’d find a thing or two that resonates with you✨💕

i recently learned that the eiffel tower can be 15cm taller in the summer! and this is because of thermal expansion, which is what happens when metal expands due to the heat. it’s just so interesting to think about how it probably expands, but never visibly!😀 you could quite literally be next to it when the expansion is happening & you’d never know. Astonishing, right?

The 90s fashion trend was so iconic, and i’m so glad to know that most of the trends from back then are totally in trend now. Fashion is always evolving and seeing people wear stuff from the 90s with their own spin on it is so cool to see. This is definitely a vibe, the hairstyle with the denim vest and cropped tee, along with the accessories scream 90s! And although i’m very aware that there are people who wear this style in this era, they’re however not a lot and i would love to see this style make a huge comeback!

i think ketchup definitely belongs in the fridge and this is a hill i’m willing to die on. it just tastes so much better and it stays fresh that way. if you store ketchup in a cupboard, your choices are very questionable and you should be arrested. 😂

i’m an advocate for wetting the toothbrush before AND after applying toothpaste. doing anything other than that is just crazy😂 Wetting it before so the toothbrush can be “rinsed” (just makes me feel better generally, can’t explain it) and wetting it after to help the toothpaste spread out nicely & not fall out in clumps. something about going in with unwet brush & paste screams “criminal” idc😂

Appreciation - 15/12/24. Today, i appreciate; - my friends and my family. For really holding down the fort for me and supporting me through all the times i almost gave up and i didn’t believe in myself anymore. - my mental health, for not failing me even though i was going through the toughest times the last few months while preparing for my final exams in Uni. - My partner, for being so understanding and pushing me to my best potential.

At the North Pole, Sally the Elf on the Shelf found out that Santa’s sleigh bells were missing! Without them, Santa couldn’t fly his sleigh. Sally, myself and some of her other friends searched everywhere and finally discovered a trail of glitter leading to the Reindeer Stables. There, we found that the playful baby reindeers had taken the bells to use as toys. Sally and i gently explained how important the bells were, and the baby reindeers happily returned them. With the bells back in place, Santa’s sleigh was ready to soar, and Sally and I saved Christmas just in time!

Once upon a time, we were inseparable, two peas in a pod and two hearts beating as one. But slowly, distance grew between us and became filled with unspoken words and unmet glances. We could no longer tell what the other was thinking just by looking into their eyes. One cold evening, under the most beautiful sky, he handed me a note. With each breath, the cool air carried the weight of unspoken words and the breeze rustled the leaves, echoing the quiet ache of a love lost. I read his words, each one a dagger to my heart. He had found someone else. someone who made him feel alive. I stood there, shattered as he walked away. With tears streaming down my face and wondering how the wonderful array of constellations in the night sky would haunt me forever as witnesses to the greatest heartbreak, i turned and walked the opposite direction, feeling the weight of our lost love. And i never looked back.

Lately, my mental health has declined significantly and on some days, i’m able to get up and push through but on most days, i feel completely unable to function. i’m constantly overwhelmed and struggling really bad to keep up with everything going on around me. Because of this, i took a very needed break off the app, just to gather myself. I’m not there yet, but i know I’m going to get there soon and it’ll all work out. Just wanted to share because it lightens the load and i know i’m not the only one so others can feel comforted with me voicing out about it. Thank you for taking the time to read. i love you.🫶🏽✨
