The new Priority feed shows notifications is a combo of people you follow and people with a power badge. New notifs here are counted in the unread badge (red dot).

We’ve also added a bunch of notification-specific filters to make browsing easier.

If you don’t like this change, reply and tell me why. The more specific, the better.

the fact that i'm not notified when non-spam accounts engage with my posts is worse than seeing spam. noticing just now a bunch of likes and replies buried in the non-priority notifs tabs

also explains the lower engagement I'm seeing across farcaster, everyone is getting less notifications and thus engage less

i'll never periodically check the non-priority tabs, so users will think i'm ignoring their mentions when in reality i just don't know they're there. also most of these are not spam afaict.
