do $degen tips have the same value as sending $degen?

I feel like they aren't, but wondering if it's explained anywhere

This is the proper response.  The only other issue is the time value of $Degen.  

The tips everyone gives here like this:
2000 $Degen

Will be allocated from airdrop 2 (20% of supply) which will start distribution beginning by claim at Degen.tips on February 29.

The amount of Degen you can claim is precisely equal to whatever you receive in tips.

Honestly, from what I've seen from @jacek on Telegram I believe they could be worth more because there will be an allotment from the total airdrop each month and the tipped degen will be flattened as there are many who have been allocated large amounts and haven't tipped.

Does anyone know what this column on the far right of the dune query is for? Is that the total number of tips allocated?

The 1st phase of airdrop 2 was beta so those degen shouldn't count, then a lot, like me, did not give all their allowance because there was no counter to keep track.
There is also a lot of degen that will be redistributed again if they are not claimed by April. many important profiles have not claimed their degen.
