Been feeling the same. 300k followers, you’d think just about anything I say would get 100+ likes, but far from it

revealed: where are the likes

if users see little to no reaction to their casts, why would they bother posting?

is the illusion of fake engagement worse than the harsh reality of low high-quality content? 

are bots good or bad?

imho selecting out speculative hubs/bots is longterm going to yield higher-signal engagement, which is underlying justification for that vanity metric.

we shouldn't be settling for instagram-tier dilution & any compression/sequestration of noisy slop is going to pay off when everything heats up.

I feel like a large portion of the “bots” are deployed by farcaster team (not the ones that interact but the ones that mass follow certain accounts) just to keep the big accounts here satisfied and coming back
