I’d guess that OpenSea will hope that 0% fees makes a dent in marketshare and save them having to rush to a token like with the Sushi/Uniswap saga. The big difference is that Blur innovated with their bids model and UX versus just copy paste.

my highest conviction view about NFT marketplaces is that market structure will continue to rapidly evolve, and that it is very hard to make any predictions about market structure in 2 years

Loosing that fee revenue will to hurt like a bitch - OS's entire model was built around those fees. I strongly doubt they will release a token in a timely manner and Blur is will continue to outinnovate them in the meantime.

I used Blur for the first time and was impressed by how advanced and polished the product is. Maybe a different target user. Agreed it’s definitely far more than copy paste
