Agree with this. All of the go to market and messaging work that Base is doing is so much stronger if their main CTA can be “Download Base in the App Store to go onchain”. The more users Base brings onchain the better it is for all developers. It’s the exact same reasoning as why Warpcast should be Farcaster

You need the messaging to be what the user will be get ‘Come onchain and get X’ You told me to do something, which will result in a new state, but I have no idea what that new state brings me or if it alleviates any pain point I’m currently experiencing.

I’d agree if the wallet only had Base coins on it & was solely for Base, but since it’s not it would cause more confusion for new people who are getting onboarded through coinbase & the smart wallet. Base is onboarding users regardless of the name & it not being called the Base app is more beneficial than anything because people will see that they’re showing the competition (other chains: Zora, Zksync, Solana, etc.) instead of forcing them to just use Base if you get what I’m saying. Now with farcaster I agree totally with that, never got why it was called Warpcast when everybody refers to it as Farcaster. Now the parent company can be called Warpcast all it wants, but the app should be named Farcaster @dwr.eth @horsefacts.eth @farcaster
