for channels, i think a new feed and then upvotes/downvotes would go a long way for quality in the main channel feed.

how would you prevent spam / bots from rings?

i would simply not include them in the upvote/downvote score

then I would build a decentralized protocol that simply doesn’t include them in the score

3/ votes by holders of the channel nft or channel subscribers (with whatever distribution rules that comes with)

Or token gate the channels with minimum fees like storage for users, maybe even with nfts, so it’s harder for them to run profitable bots
