for channels, i think a new feed and then upvotes/downvotes would go a long way for quality in the main channel feed.

how would you prevent spam / bots from rings?

i would simply not include them in the upvote/downvote score

could the upvotes be done similar to how /rounds does it, where a mod can select from options such as

all likes by power badge count towards an upvote

designate a list of accounts who’s likes count towards upvoting - they could get this data from airstack to form a larger list based on social capital score
