I like ethereums philosophy more, and really want ethereum to succeed. However I know it is being worked on but I'm a bit sceptical that speed and UX solutions can be abstracted away without introducing trust assumptions that devalue ethereums L1 security.

So I'm interested in solana because they seem to have started from the other end of the spectrum. They have the speed and the UX but need to work on further decentralizing, and no doubt they probably have some further trade offs I haven't come to understand just yet!
