Some non techie brain dump thoughts re eth and sol 

Eth:
Good decentralization
Good economics
L2 scaling solution sacrifices (currently):
Security
Decent'n
Ux

Sol:
Ok decent'n (not as gd as eth, better than eth L2's) 
Gd speed
Gd cheap fees
Gd UX
Sacrifices:
Cant run node from home affordably
Not as good economics

Enthusiastic about web3 domains. Imported a web2 DNS address into ENS and voila, got my grail domain, Jack.top

I like ethereums philosophy more, and really want ethereum to succeed. However I know it is being worked on but I'm a bit sceptical that speed and UX solutions can be abstracted away without introducing trust assumptions that devalue ethereums L1 security.

So what's your take ser? 
Which is better L2s or Solana?

Solana is cool, cheap and fast. But it less decentralized. Yeah. Anyway L2s have cheaper storage.

Yesterday  I found Neon EVM, they are working on executing Solidity code on Solana. Looks cool.
