How much whining is to be expected and tolerated?

Say for 3-5 years old, or something

I don't have a baseline for my expectations

Between 23-24hrs a day is normal 

But really everyone has a different method 

I think we ended up going with something like , “ I don’t understand what you’re saying can you use words, please?”

Plus, a little ridicule, we called the behavior being a “whiny Piner”

Seems like guiding them to the right communication is the way to go

I just have no idea how much is too much. But maybe nobody experiences too little lol

Honestly, honestly, if there was no whining, I’d be worried

It’s one of the more annoying things things and there are many annoying things 

Another thing we said was this is getting you farther from what you want , if you use your words, that will get you closer
