'Proof of work' is a physical artwork (ink on Tyvek) that will incorporate hand drawn signatures in the exact quantity of open editions minted, awarded to the winning bidder of '1 of 1'.

‘1 of 1’ is inscribed on a black uncommon Satoshi mined on March 22, 2021— the same date "NFTs, explained" was minted on Ethereum.

The relationship between the two pieces is their shared commentary on the underlying mechanisms that enable "non-fungibility" on these media, and our ongoing search for consensus around the tradeoffs and durability of each.
