Basically as south as you can go in Bay Ridge

I was very close to moving out there for a bit, but ended up out in queens after a stint in south slope. Really liked Blend as a coffeeshop / coworking spot when I used to service my car at Toyota for a while

What’s an underrated cuisine to try in the area?

Definitely have to try the Arab cuisines next time I’m there!

Dim sum is probably still pick something in Manhattan Chinatown or New Lake Pavilion in Flushing. Big Fuzhou population in Brooklyn Chinatown

I’m a Queens boy at heart but my wife grew up in Bay Ridge and my brother lives down here. 

Bay Ridge itself has amazing Arab cuisine — Palestinian, Lebanese, Yemeni. A lot of up and coming food from Central Asia and Caucasus. The Georgian spot Ubani is a favorite. Lots of good Uzbek places popping up. Plus the Chinese food is great bc of Sunset Park and Bensonhurst. The dim sum in particular is some of the best in the city.
