if you pay for a newsletter or another content subscription (doesn’t have to be crypto or tech), mind commenting which creators (I.e. Lennys community, acquired slack, bt dithering)? Any context on why you pay / if you get your moneys worth would be super helpful

I was in fact a Lenny subscriber for a year or so. Defensibility comes down to what problem you’re solving. His newsletter really helps people stay ahead of the curve with product and in turn helped people land and upgrade their existing PM jobs For me, I was considering a harder pivot to product data science but I’m an edge case

tbh i still think Lenny's approached the paid newsletter and community game very well. i was actually at his community's very first get together in Williamsburg years ago i think by accident he combined the benefit of creating catered content to a high value customer AND a paid community by slapping a Slack channel and a community manager to it come for the PM alpha stay for the PM network

yep thought about the exact same thing last night. i've also been hosting events in NYC and enjoying that, have a TG channel for NYC events i've been curating just for fun, etc. think if i really lean into x amount of subs who enjoy the content a ton that's beter what did u first pay for lenny's sub?

Tbh I don’t remember. I think it was a $10 or $15 /mo subscription where I took on the discounted yearly rate once
