ran some numbers today 

since joining Farcaster and inclusive of Proxy Studio & Proxyswap, I have paId out a total of ~$52,725 to individuals, dev teams for contributions &  ecosystem projects for services.

this number doesn't include non ecosystem fees (google, domains, etc) 

sources of funding so far have been: 
/hypersub 
/degendao 
+
/party 
+ some money I generated trading subscription revenue early on

no personal salary yet - soon though

if you have paid out $ to contributors or for ecosystem services on @farcaster I'd love to hear about it 

$100 is great, $1000 is amazing, $100,000 is beautiful - it all matters, from a /bounties post to a salary for a full time job, anyone growing the farcaster economy by funding people to do things here or using the services of projects in the ecosystem is valid in my book

The crazy one I almost forgot about was that at peak degen pump we were leading into NFT NYC and Serendipity needed to put down something like $10k as a deposit

In a matter of 2ish weeks leading into degen claim Cameron and I single-handedly covered that amount in tips along with help from other tippers. Insane to think about looking back at it

we should document them before they're lost to unpaid storage

We want to use $degen for public good by publishing physical works from web3 photographers. All tips go towards publishing our first book Nothing But Flowers.

Very true. Before I forget, Nate’s effort to publish a photobook using Degen tips is still pretty awesome too @photobooks

We didn't raise that much, about $1500 but starting the layout this week so that's pretty exciting.
