this little pile of snow is coming in handy today. our refrigerator broke last night and we had to throw away a lotttt of food, but whatever little we could save is now sitting in this pile of snow in our balcony. 

oh and maintenance won’t be able to fix what’s wrong before Tuesday 🥲

There was a month I lived without a fridge because the order was delayed so bad during the pandemic. We just kept a carton of eggs and a quart of milk in the window sill because it was January and cold

Now that I’m thinking of it we did the window sill thing for a month, but we were fridgeless for 2.5 months while renovating our apartment during covid. Eating out that much really makes you miss home cooking
