Facts. Feels like in web3, nearly all projects make that mistake. 10+ people for a project that has no pmf nor do they know what they need them for tbh. Such poor capital allocation it hurts.

Pre-launch marketing to me means identifying exactly that through market research, marketability testing, testing and verifying the audience and messaging etc. so I wouldn’t count out marketing function when used correctly and as integrated part of product building
