1/2 Feeling a bit under the weather today, so I’m chilling in bed watching old skate videos. It’s bringing back so many memories. If you didn’t skate in the early 2000s, you might not know how much resistance we faced back then. Honestly being a skater does show a lot for your character, eat shit 100 times trying to land a trick get up every time saying "one more try" until you roll away clean is the best feeling ever.

This just flooded me with nostalgia. It’s crazy how we get so wrapped up in our current lives that we forget we lived entire other ones. Skating was my life for like 15 years. Everyday finding a new spot to be yourself in the world and the unity it created with diverse people. Osiris and Element and Time Machine 🤙

feel better! I grew up in Florida & it was pretty tough to skate 20-30 years ago. Now I’ve live on the west coast of the US, California & Washington, and there are so many amazing skate parks. Glad my kids can grow up here!
