1/2 Feeling a bit under the weather today, so I’m chilling in bed watching old skate videos. It’s bringing back so many memories. If you didn’t skate in the early 2000s, you might not know how much resistance we faced back then. Skaters dealt with a lot of hate, but it made us tougher and more united.

Yeah, I skate occasionally, but I used to be out there every day after school for hours. Those were the best times, just hitting up spots with friends. Falling on concrete so much takes a toll, though. If I skated now, it’d probably just be for carving or a mini ramp session.

I also enjoy skating, but a friend recently broke his leg from a bad fall, and I’ve been scared to skate since then
