imo it’s gonna be tough to get farcaster users to adopt a proof of human/KYC system without financial incentives, i feel like all the solutions require jumping hoops which is doable but personally always bucketed these solutions as things people would only do if financially incentivized

can we just make doing web of trust a lot easier? i feel like WoT has never been really tried in a mobile-first context and i could imagine fun interactive Tinder style UIs being enough to get people to use them

thought about this a lot, and had mocks for a simple one on icebreaker profile where it just used a Heart icon to mark someone as trusted (very old (Feb 2023) mocks attached) that would manifest as attestation right now we let you make attestations with 1-tap from profile pages. chiefly been driving qBuilder (https://app.icebreaker.xyz/credentials/qBuilder) this way, which is a form of WoT, as are all recursive attestations, of which we have a bunch i can imagine a module on icebreaker profile page that is like quick answers on Google Maps, that could also ask you a few other questions like Did you work with this person, would you recommend for {Skill}, etc, all manifesting as attestation also. just have not built yet bc focus on Search rn and i can also imagine a simple site with Tinder UX like you're mentioning here that simply asks, Do you trust Mike Rainbow Y / N on a mobile web UX > attests > open WoT graph for people to build on + some reward optionally, with daily refresh cc @web3pm @tayyab
