Don’t break the streak. Once you get going, don’t miss your lifting day. If you’re really stressed/not motivated - tell yourself you’re going in to do just 1 rep… and everything else is gravy. You’ll find yourself doing your whole workout. One strategy is the starting strength novice linear progression…

The SS NLP creates this huge video game effect - you add a little weight every training session. If you miss a day, you miss your up-level. It gets really addicting. You’ll see a lot of noise on the interwebs about this, but the video game effect was extremely compelling to me…
