Almost a week out, this is still what lingers for me

Dude just vanished and we never got to hear his side of the story or attempt to get closure

Probably the best legal move on his part, but still — the silence is deafening

Real talk? Alex / Gordon probably has a lot of childhood trauma stored in his body

And he found some sense of meaning and glory thru crypto. But the combination of getting rinsed in a downturn and not being grounded enough to navigate that well led to bad decisions 

He need not have let those decisions follow him into the proxy / Clanker saga, but I think his trauma probably told him he could get away with it 

I did feel a sense of humanity with him, but I think he was never playing the long game. Doubly costly because this community would have played the long game with him. It still might if he could unwind some of the core physiological issues and own up to his behavior, but that’s unlikely 

I simultaneously feel compassion, disgust, and strong distrust
