why hasn't using custom right click menus in your web app taken off? is it too hidden (need to educate users to right click)? not mobile first enough?

i like what moritz said and agree it’s just pretty hidden for a lot of users

it also pisses me off when i’m trying to get to chrome right click items and they’re overridden with site specific commands

so maybe it’s just mostly associated w browser level controls instead of site

adding a complimentary right click custom section at the top of the chrome menu would be nice - bc then it could be an expected and useful pattern 

i also love command bar - and as moritz said hard to replicate that or right click on mobile
