Is GPT 4 actually connected to the internet? I recently upgraded to it and I still get the same replies to some of my prompts asking it for current data online “this model can’t browse the internet/is based on info from 2021”

You have to use plug-ins in ChatGPT with GPT 4 for it to pull data from the Internet.
