my friend who moved from ny to sf came back to ny and tried ten times to convince me to move to sf permanently. of all the arguments (weather aside) the most compelling to me was that you won't get judged as much lmao

we were talking about how longer term, perfect competition of technology will dramatically reduce the TAM for business software -> less people employed -> consumers have no money -> consumer businesses also struggle -> everybody who doesn't have some sort of edge is basically rekt and will need UBI

this was at a fast, no frills brooklyn donut/breakfast shop with $1 coffee and i realized everyone around us probably hates us lmao
