Maybe it's not going crazy in a clinical sense, but being flooded with bots, and generated AI garble feels like you are in a latent and constant dream state. You're floating in a dream, and in this dream, anything and everything is possible. Sometimes its a great dream, sometimes its a nightmare. Anything is possible. But anything is possible?
Evolutionarily, and intrinsically it seems like humans feel safe and get comfort from having a sense of where they are. In the real world, there is a finality to your environment, a sense of being able to trust your surroundings. When you reach out to a cup, that your cup will be graspable.
In the online world, it feels like its slowly becoming the case. I honestly have no idea what's going to happen, but it does feel like there is a change in the tide in terms of how much content is going to be AI generated. It can make an image, an essay so much faster than humans (whether it is any good or not is a separate discussion) but it will undoubtedly dominate - then what? 12 replies
